MEC-01 · Custom automated machinery

Industrial automation and custom machinery

Is a process in your plant stuck on repetitive manual work, or do you need a machine nobody will build for you? We design and build automated machinery in El Salvador — mechanics, electronics and software, integrated by one team.

  • Automation of repetitive manual processes.
  • Integrated sensors, actuators and monitoring dashboards.
  • A single owner for the whole system: mechanics, electronics and software.

Yummy Ice: automatic minuta machine

Problem
Clients who knew us for 3D printing and prototyping arrived with an ambitious idea: fully automating a minuta — the Salvadoran shaved ice with flavored syrups and tamarind jelly you find on every corner on a hot day. Machines existed to shave ice; none existed that did the whole process, from on-screen selection to a served minuta, with no person in between.
Build
We designed a prototype and three production versions — two fully autonomous and one compact semi-autonomous for events. The machine makes shaved ice on the spot from an internal purified-water reservoir, doses syrups and jelly to the customer's touchscreen selection, dispenses the spoon, protects the interior with an automatic door and takes cash payments. Everything came out of the shop: mechanical, electrical and electronic design, four degrees of freedom, up to ten dosing pumps, hardware-revision-aware firmware in C, and a Linux mini server with a React frontend, remotely reachable over WiFi or cellular for analytics, maintenance and updates. The system is patented at the Centro Nacional de Registros.
Result
Seven machines built and delivered: one exported to the United States, four for Salvadoran malls and two compact versions working private events. We keep maintaining the machines in operation. A street-corner treat turned into an engineered product — with its own patent.

Frequently asked questions

SEC. 02 / FAQ

What people ask us before requesting a quote.

What kinds of processes can be automated?

Repetitive manual processes: dosing, cutting, sealing, labeling, counting, moving product. If a person does it the same way many times a day, it can almost certainly be automated fully or partially.

Do you build complete machines or adapt existing ones?

Both. We design and build machines from scratch, and we also modernize existing equipment by adding sensors, electronic control and monitoring.

How does an automation project start?

With a visit or a call to see the real process: cycle times, volumes, constraints. From that we propose scope, phases and a prototype to validate before building the final machine.

Do you provide maintenance after delivery?

Yes. Every machine is delivered with commissioning and training, and we offer ongoing calibration and maintenance.

How much does a custom machine cost?

It depends on the process and the level of automation. After the initial assessment you get a proposal with phases and deliverables, starting with a prototype that reduces risk before the full investment.
